Fiction books range in readability level. We collect fiction material for all reading levels. If you have a question about the reading level of a particular book please consult the Frye Graph located in the EMC.

Fiction books are stories that are not true. These books are arranged alphabetically by the first four (4) letters of the author’s last name. The fiction books call numbers start with FIC (this helps to designate them as juvenile fiction). If we have more than one book by an author the books are shelved alphabetically by the book title

For example: If you wanted to find the Harry Potter Books you would look under: FIC ROWL. The author who writes the Harry Potter Books is J. K. Rowling.
