The Curriculum Collection is made up of a number of different items. These items are intended to help support students in the College of Education by providing access to professional materials they normally wouldn't have.

Activity Guides: These books will give parents and teachers ideas of projects and learning activities they can do with their children or students. These books are housed in the small room between the Bilingual Collection and the Juvenile Collection.

Reference Books: These books will help parents and teachers locate appropriate material to use with their students. Books such as What Do Children Read Next, are located in this area. These books are housed in the small room between the Bilingual Collection and the Juvenile Collection.

Fastbacks: Phi Delta Kappa Fastbacks, donated by PDK, are pamphlets that treat individual topics in education. They are filed by their fastback number, rather than by their Library of Congress number. They are listed in OASIS, with EDUCATION MATERIALS CTR in the Location box. Although the OASIS record will give a Library of Congress call number, the fastback number (which is also given on the OASIS record, under Series) is what you need to locate the item. These books are shelved in the Juvenile Collection right next to the State Adopted Textbooks. They are designated by a red sign
