The Bilingual Education Collection was established in 1976, by Dr. Mario Benetiz, to meet the growing need for a comprehensive collection of materials in the field of bilingual-bicultural education. The Bilingual Education Collection provides support to the students in the College of Education that are studying Bilingual Education. We have three different types of material: Research Material, Juvenile Material, and State Adopted Textbooks.
The Bilingual Education Collection was greatly enhanced by a $25,000 grant from NEH from 2000-2003.
