Interlibrary Services (Borrowing Materials)
Please choose one of the following types of
material to obtain via interlibrary loan.
Please note:
- You must be a currently registered TAMUK student, a TAMUK
faculty member, or a TAMUK staff member to request interlibrary loan materials
- If you have more than nine overdue items or owe
library fines, the system will not allow you to request ILL materials. ILL staff will NOT
place requests for patrons who exceed these limits. These matters must be resolved before
ILL requests can be placed.
- Some materials cannot be acquired via interlibrary loan
- Allow two weeks for the material to arrive at the Jernigan
Library
- The Jernigan Library charges patrons only when lending
libraries charge us. The majority of materials the Library borrows do not incur a cost,
but some materials are only available from institutions which charge for ILL lending
(these charges average $10 - $20). IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR ILL MATERIALS, PLEASE
ENTER THE AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY IN THE "OTHER INFORMATION" BOX
- Enter all the information you have -- if the form does not
have a place for pages, volume number, ISBN, ISSN or other information, please enter it in
"Other Information"
- Do not use abbreviations -- if you do not know what an
abbreviation signifies, please consult a reference librarian
- Please enter your email address in "Other
Information" if you wish to be notified via email when your material has arrived
