Databases
Main Menu TAMUK Main Menu

The library has many different databases. We know that the task of selecting the right one can be daunting, so we created this guide to help you choose the database that will best meet your research needs. The databases can be broken down into two main types, general and subject specific. The general databases tend to have information on a variety of topics, while the subject specific databases contain information that focuses on a specific area of study. The library has divided the databases into ten areas to help you locate information efficiently. To go the specific areas just click on the links below or from the library's homepage, select "Resources by Subject/Topic" located under Articles & More; this will take you to a list of databases arranged alphabetically and by subject. The ten areas are:

General
Agriculture and Life Sciences
Business and Computing
Education
Engineering, Science, and Technology
Government and Law
Health and Medicine
Humanities (Includes history, art, literature, etc.)
News
Social Sciences (Includes Psychology, Sociology, etc.)
