MISSION / VISION / GOALS

The Jernigan Library is a full-service academic library dedicated to meeting the research needs of the students, faculty, and staff of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Part of the Jernigan Library's mission is to provide access to services and as many resources as possible to its off-campus and distance education students. The vision of the Jernigan Library faculty and staff is to have a library that not only supports but encourages the development of critical thinkers in educated and informed learners. The Jernigan Library's goal is to fulfill its mission in an effective, timely, courteous, and efficient manner by providing services and resources to all students, faculty and staff.
