Classroom InformationQ: How do I schedule a classroom in the library? A: Classrooms may be reserved by calling the Library's Administration Office at 361-593-3416. Q: What type of equipment is available in my classroom? A: You can find a complete list of equipment in the library classrooms by visiting the Classroom List page. Q: How do I get more equipment for my classroom? A: To reserve more equipment, visit the TLC office, call (361) 593-2164, or fill out an online request form on the Equipment Request page. Equipment Circulation QuestionsQ: What equipment can I reserve and for how long? A: For a complete list of equipment available for check out, please visit our Equipment List page. Q: Where can I return equipment that I checked out? A: You can return equipment to the Equipment Circulation office (LB 321). Q: What are your office hours? A: For a complete list of office hours, please visit our Operating Hours page. Getting AssistanceQ: How do I get assistance in the classroom? A: Call the Equipment Circulation office at 593-2164. If the problem cannot be resolved by phone, technical support staff will be dispatched right away to fix your problem. This includes only equipment borrowed from TLC. Q: What time can I get into a classroom? A: The Library classrooms are open ten minutes prior to a scheduled class or event and should be scheduled through the Library Administration Office. Depending on preceding classes, you may have access to your classroom even earlier. Please contact us ahead of time to make these arrangements. Q: How do I learn to use the multimedia equipment available in the classroom? A: You can schedule training with a staff member anytime. For more information or to schedule training with one of our staff members, call 361-593-2164. Additional InformationQ: When do the library classrooms close? A: Typically, these rooms close immediately after the class is over. If an instructor would like to stay later in the room, they may feel free to do so, assuming there isn't another class. Students are not allowed to remain in the room without an instructor present. Q: Why can't my students and I have food or drink in the classroom? A: We ask that you cooperate with us and not allow food or drink in the classroom in order to prevent vermin in the library, and to keep the classroom presentable and equipment functioning for all users.
